WEBINAR: Advancing Sales & Operations Planning
In today’s complex marketplace, effective planning and performance metrics are critical for success. A successful S&OP process integrates financial, marketing and operational planning to create over-arching strategic plans for the business. Pam Lindsey will discuss how traditional S&OP processes can be matured to a more integrated business planning process. She will provide examples from her 25+ year industry career with the DuPont Company, Ciena and now as an independent consultant.
In addition, she will guide interested participants to look into the APICS S&OP certification or APICS Principles of S&OP workshops. APICS provides forward-looking programs that prepare supply chain professionals to collaboratively participate in the S&OP process.
The APICS Principles of S&OP seminar provides managers and planners a comprehensive review of the principles and functions of S&OP. Attendees participate in exercises and discussions on the elements of data collection, demand and supply planning, and conducting the pre- and executive S&OP meetings.
